Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester United: Januzaj hands Red Devils victory over Villans

first_img1 Manchester United claimed their second win of the new Premier League season as they dispatched Aston Villa 1-0 at Villa Park. And it was fringe star Adnan Januzaj, who could soon find himself out on loan, who was the hero as he netted a first half winner.Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose, was the inspirational team talk Tim Sherwood should have given his underdogs as Friday night football cast a glancing blow on football tradition before next year’s onslaught but they just couldn’t find their feet in the final third. The Football League has already had it for a few years but now it’s the turn of the big boys and if this game was anything to go by it could well be a hit, as two rusty teams played out an exciting clash, even though the quality was lacking.Januzaj was a shock started for Man United in a No.10 role but he found it hard early on as the alert Micah Richards robbed the ball from his feet. And the Villans looked dangerous on the counter early on as both sides wrestled for supremacy in the Midlands. The hosts already look an improved side and seem far more comfortable on the ball than in previous seasons but after one unlucky bounce Brad Guzan had to be off his line quickly to deny Memphis Depay. At the other end, Chris Smalling did well to intercept a dangerous Villa pass as they looked to dissect a disorganised Man United defence following a throw in.But it was to be Manchester United who opened the scoring and Van Gaal could be forgiven for sporting a smug grin.Excellent play by the Red Devils saw Juan Mata on the left and his stunning ball sent through Januzaj who, after dodging a tackle from Richards, slipped the ball past Brad Guzan from six yards and watched it bounce in off the post. Two errors from Mata nearly allowed Aston Villa to get in on goal but they were, in the end, able to survive a threatening corner, where Matteo Darmian, who was less convincing than on his debut against Tottenham, appeared to hold back Richards in the box. After the break, another Mata error put Jordan Ayew through, gallivanting towards goal, but his shot was dreadful and didn’t even worry Sergio Romero between the sticks. And with Man United looking shaky, Jordan Amavi’s marauding run and cross provided a real opportunity for Sherwood’s side but Villa couldn’t make them pay.For the visitors, the likes of Wayne Rooney, who looked really out of sorts, and Depay really struggled to make an impact and soon Aston Villa appeared completely in charge as Idrissa Gueye saw a shot blocked.A Depay free-kick which ballooned into the stands summed up the Dutchman’s evening with 20 minutes to go, although Ayew shamed himself moments later with a terrible dive which earned him a caution.Again it was Depay who wasted another glorious opportunity as he tried to bend home Mata’s sensational pass as he thundered through towards Guzan, and he was eventually taken off by Van Gaal. And in the end, even with the introduction of fresh legs by both sides, the match petered out, leaving Manchester United to travel home and enjoy the weekend with three points already under their belts. First iPhone 4 Class Action Suit Filed

first_imgRelated Posts sarah perez Tags:#Apple#news#NYT#web Why Tech Companies Need Simpler Terms of Servic… Top Reasons to Go With Managed WordPress Hostingcenter_img The first iPhone 4 class action lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and, as expected, it focuses on the phone’s reception issues. Since the record-breaking launch of Apple’s latest gadget – 1.7 million were sold during its opening weekend alone – there have been scores of complaints about the device’s antenna design. Holding the phone in a particular spot leads to signal loss and dropped calls, as many new iPhone owners soon unhappily discovered. Apple’s only suggestion to its legions of loyal customers? Either don’t hold the phone that way or buy one of its $30 rubber bumpers. Neither of these responses were good enough for Maryland residents Kevin McCaffrey and Linda Wrinn, though, the lead plaintiffs in the suit filed by Ward & Ward, PLLC and Charles A. Gilman, LLC on Wednesday. This suit is different than the one reported earlier this week. On Tuesday, we mentioned how a California law firm by the name of Kershaw, Cutter & Ratinoff is currently exploring the possibility of a class action suit also based on reception issues. Lawsuit Claims Negligence, Breach of Warranty, FraudThe Maryland suit, however, is the first class action suit to have actually been filed. It alleges that Apple, and in some cases, AT&T, have been negligent in selling customers a defective device. The plaintiffs are demanding compensatory damages and “other remedies” in return. Listed among the complaints are general negligence, defect in design, manufacture and assembly, breach of express warranty, breach of implied warranty for merchantability, breach of implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, deceptive trade practices, intentional misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation and fraud by concealment. In layman’s terms, what these claims are saying is that not only did Apple sell a defective device, it did so knowingly. What’s less clear is why AT&T is also being held responsible for these issues, unless it’s simply a matter of the cellular provider’s function as the phone’s reseller –  as the supplier, it has a responsibility to make sure it sells functional devices. Although it’s unknown at this time whether or not Apple was aware of the reception issues beforehand, there are some oddities surrounding the device’s launch that may make the company look guilty to some outsiders. For example, for the first time ever, Apple began selling iPhone cases. These rubber “bumpers” as they’re called have been specifically designed to fit the iPhone 4 and are available for $30 in the Apple Store. They’re also, coincidentally, the one proven way to solve the reception issues. Also potentially damning, is the leaked alleged memo to Apple employees, which details to AppleCare (Apple’s tech support) representatives what steps to follow when dealing with reception complaints from customers. Within its instructions are tips about how to hold the device to avoid touching the antenna and the suggestion to use a case or bumper made of rubber or plastic.Apple apologists have dismissed these issues as “no big deal,” given that a rubber case effectively solves the problem. Some commenters on the various news and blog sites reporting the news have even scoffed, “If you don’t like it, return it.” Unfortunately, AT&T charges a 10% restocking fee for returns, meaning the entire cost of purchase cannot be recouped even for those who have decided to give up on their new phone entirely. Android Fragmentation: Getting Worse All The Time

first_imgWhy IoT Apps are Eating Device Interfaces Role of Mobile App Analytics In-App Engagement Related Posts Tags:#Android#Apple#fragmentation#iOS#mobile#Samsung What it Takes to Build a Highly Secure FinTech …center_img Matt Asay You might think that Samsung’s dominance of the Android ecosystem would make Android’s long-time nemesis, fragmentation, better. But you would be wrong.A recent set of visualizations from OpenSignal captures this point well. Yes, Samsung controls 47.5% of the Android market. With this in mind, the Android market looks like it’s coalescing around a few (read: one) dominant vendor, which would expect to reduce fragmentation:Credit: OpenSignalBut this brand-level view is deceptive. Even with Samsung dominating the landscape, Android fragmentation is accelerating, if anything. In 2012 there were 3,997 different Android devices on the market. In 2013 that number has nearly tripled to 11,868. Here’s a look at Android device fragmentation in July 2012:Credit: OpenSignalAnd here’s July 2013:Credit: OpenSignalPretty as these visualizations are, it’s not surprising developers continue to prefer Apple’s somewhat staid device and OS line-up. Limited, great choices for consumers add up to expansive, great choices for developers. In a recent report, VisionMobile found that iOS is selected more frequently than average by developers that value revenue potential (+12%), graphics (+7%), app discovery (+8%) and user reach (+10%).On the one hand, it’s easy to say “Who cares?”, given Android’s continued upward trend in market share. After all, broad fragmentation means that everyone can get an Android device that is a close fit for their particular needs. Long live the Long Tail! But fragmentation is only going to get worse, as emerging market, no-name vendors bludgeon Samsung’s market share with low-cost devices. And as cartoonist Hugh MacLeod once detailed, as much as we may like to glorify the Long Tail, it hasn’t worked out very well in practice. It turns out that both consumers and developers really like Short Tail products and economics. The Android ecosystem should pay attention. How to Be Rich

first_img Essential Reading! Get my first book: The Only Sale Guide You’ll Ever Need “The USA Today bestseller by the star sales speaker and author of The Sales Blog that reveals how all salespeople can attain huge sales success through strategies backed by extensive research and experience.” Buy Now Last week a reader of my Sunday Newsletter sent me an email to ask me a single question. That question was, “How do I become rich?”The word rich is used to describe people who have an abundance of money and material wealth. But just like there are multiple forms of intelligence, there are multiple forms of wealth, real wealth being something different from pecuniary wealth.Be HealthyYour health is a more important source of wealth than money. You would never trade your eyesight or your hearing for money. You wouldn’t trade your ability to walk and run and drive for money either. You wouldn’t give up the ability to pick up your children or grandchildren and hold them in your arms.Your health is an immeasurable form of wealth, even if you don’t recognize it as such.Be WealthyBeing loved and loving others is an immense form of wealth. The more people who truly love you, the richer you are. The number of people you love is another way to measure your real riches. When you die, your banker will not show up to your funeral, nor will your stock broker. Don’t look for these folks if you are ever sick or hospitalized either. You’re looking for the person who is going to sit next to you and hold your hand. The greatest source of riches is love. Period. Full stop. If you have that, you have what you really need.Be WiseOne way to measure your real wealth is to weigh your character. Who are you? What do you stand for? What do you fight for? How do you contribute? There are people who cannot sleep at night because they’ve betrayed themselves and others. There is no amount of money that can prevent them from being poor.Who you are matters much more than what you have. It always has, and it always will.Be GratefulThe truth is that you can only be truly rich when you are truly grateful. And when you are truly grateful, you are already rich. There is nothing wrong with wanting money and hustling to make as much as you believe you need to be happy. But there are more important things that bring you real wealth that must not be abandoned in pursuit of “being rich,” lest you gain the money and lose your real wealth.last_img read more

Sports code to be released soon, sports bodies will have to appoint CEO

first_imgAll the sports federation in the country will soon have to appoint a full-time CEO while nobody will be allowed to head these bodies beyond three consecutive terms. There will also be an upper age limit of 70 years. These are part of the suggestions included in the draft National Sports Development Code, which has been submitted to the Union Sports Ministry.Earlier in January, the government had constituted a nine-member panel to draft the Sports Code. Headed by Sports Secretary Injeti Srinivas, the panel had Abhinav Bindra, Prakash Padukone, and Anju Bobby George in it.”We will soon release the code and will appeal the sports federations to implement these. I respect the autonomy of the sports bodies, so these guidelines will not be mandatory but I see no reason why they would not be implemented. These are meant to improve the state of sports in the country,” said Union Minister of state (independent charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel. The minister, who has recently designated 12 Olympians as National Observers in their respective disciplines, reminded that the government would act tough when needed. “We suspended the IOA when there was a blatant violation of norms. Our observers will keep giving us constant feedback and I’m sure all the stakeholders will cooperate,” he said. The observers will certainly have an encompassing role as, according to the ministry, they will assist the government, Sports Authority of India, and National Sports Federations concerned including Indian Olympic Association in the preparation and implementation of the long term development plan with respect to high priority and priority sports covering all aspects including selection policy, quality specifications for National Camps, long term athlete development plan, coaching development, development of technical officials and monitoring and evaluation of athlete performance.advertisementlast_img read more

Alberta regulator seeks order against short seller in Badger Daylighting trades

first_imgCALGARY – The Alberta Securities Commission is seeking an order prohibiting prominent American short-seller Marc Culver Cohodes from trading in securities of Calgary-based Badger Daylighting Ltd.The provincial regulator says it is also seeking to have the California investor prohibited from making public declarations regarding Badger that he knows or should reasonably know are misleading or untrue. In an application to be heard by the commission next week, ASC staff say Cohodes “misrepresented” on social media in June a picture of a Badger truck as support for his allegation of illegal dumping of toxic substances. It says, in allegations that have not been proven, that Cohodes has made numerous public claims of a similar nature over a period of more than a year, coinciding with the acquisition of his short position. In its notice of application, the ASC accuses Cohodes of trying to artificially manipulate the price of Badger securities, thus becoming a “threat” to the integrity of the capital market in Alberta. In May, Badger said in a news release that the ASC had conducted an investigation into allegations made against it by short sellers and concluded no enforcement action would be taken. In January, Home Capital Group of Toronto said it would defend itself against claims in a $4-million lawsuit filed by Cohodes alleging the company’s misrepresentations in its financial reporting cost him millions.Companies in this article: (TSX:BAD, TSX:HCG)last_img read more

BC Hydro to negotiate power purchase agreements with Saulteau and West Moberly

first_imgFORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — BC Hydro says that it plans to pursue electricity purchase agreement negotiations with two First Nations in the Peace Region. The West Moberly and Saulteau First Nations are partners with Natural Forces in the Sukunka Wind and Zonnebeke Wind projects near Chetwynd. Each of the wind projects is comprised of four wind turbines that are located east of Highway 29 near the former Natural Springs Golf Resort roughly 15 kilometres south of Chetwynd.BC Hydro said that it plans to pursue power purchase agreement negotiations with three other First Nations power projects in B.C. The five projects were selected because they are part of Impact Benefit Agreements with BC Hydro and have significant First Nations involvement. The Standing Offer program is a non-competitive, streamlined process with set pricing for small, clean energy generation projects. Hydro says that the Micro Standing Offer program requires the project have significant First Nations ownership and active participation. “Moving forward with the development of these energy projects is a step in the right direction in creating opportunities for First Nations in the province, while also contributing to B.C.’s clean energy future,” said Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Minister Michelle Mungall.“Through the Standing Offer and Micro Standing Offer programs, we’ve seen the development of small-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and biomass throughout the province. These projects contributed over 300 gigawatt hours of clean energy to BC Hydro’s system in 2016,”said BC Hydro CEO Chris O’Riley. “The five latest projects demonstrate our commitment to creating opportunities for Indigenous groups in B.C.”last_img read more

Ohio State wins game for the ages against Michigan State

Senior tight end Jeff Heuerman (left), redshirt-sophomore offensive lineman Pat Elflein, Shelley Meyer, and coach Urban Meyer sing ‘Carmen Ohio’ following a game against Michigan State on Nov. 8 in East Lansing, Mich. OSU won, 49-37. Credit: Mark Batke / Photo editorBreathe in. Breathe out. But make it quick. That’s the mindset Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer had after his team topped Michigan State on Saturday night in East Lansing, Mich.“We can’t exhale very long,” Meyer said after his Buckeyes won, 49-37, in a rematch of the 2013 Big Ten title game. “We go on the road next week against a team that whooped Iowa.”The Buckeyes (8-1, 5-0) now sit alone atop the Big Ten East Division standings after breaking a tie with the Spartans, but are scheduled to travel to Minneapolis on Saturday to take on Minnesota. The Golden Gophers shellacked the Hawkeyes to the tune of a 51-14 win Saturday to move to 7-2 on the season.Despite the implications the win against the Spartans has for the Buckeyes going forward, senior defensive lineman Michael Bennett said the most important focus for OSU has to be put on the Golden Gophers.“The biggest thing is making sure guys are ready for that game,” Bennett said after the win. “Minnesota is a really good opponent. They’ve been winning a lot of games.”Going forward, redshirt-freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett — who threw for 300 yards and ran for another 86 while scoring five total touchdowns against the Spartans — said preparation will be key for OSU going forward.“One of the main things we need to do is just make sure we practice hard,” Barrett said after the game. “We’re going to enjoy this, but knowing that we still need to play better next week.”After a run of four straight games starting at either 3:30 or 8 p.m., Bennett added it will be important to be ready to go for a noon kick against Minnesota.“It’s gonna be the first noon game or whatever it is in like four weeks, so we’re gonna have to make sure that guys are mentally ready for it and can still get the juice up that we had tonight,” he said. But even with Minnesota on the horizon, Bennett said the win against Michigan State keeps the Buckeyes’ long-term goals in the realm of possibility after the Spartans dashed OSU’s title hopes last year with a 34-24 win in the 2013 Big Ten Championship Game.“Like I said before, it’s not about revenge. It’s about accomplishing what we can accomplish this year,” he said. “And so by having that big win over a really good team, it really just keeps everything alive and starts putting us in the conversation.”That conversation surrounds the College Football Playoff standings, with this season being the first year of the new championship format. Heading into Saturday, the Buckeyes were firmly on the outside looking in with a No. 14 ranking in the CFP poll, but they picked up a win against the Spartans — which are No. 8 in the poll — that few people expected them to have. When the new Associated Press top 25 was released Sunday, OSU was No. 8 while the Spartans fell to No. 12.Sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliott — who picked up 154 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns in the game — said OSU came in as the underdogs looking to make a national statement.“We had no one behind our back except for Buckeye nation and ourselves,” Elliott said after the game. “We just had to come out and prove to the world that we’re ready.”Meyer called the win “one for the ages,” and added he felt his team showed its worth under the lights at Spartan Stadium.“We played a top-10 team and we really played our best and on the road,” he said. When it comes to his team’s standing in the playoff picture, Meyer said he still doesn’t “know enough,” but made clear his feelings on where the Buckeyes should be.“I think it is,” Meyer — who earned a $330,000 raise after the 2013 season — said as to whether OSU is a playoff-caliber team. “I love my team.”While the CFP poll will decide who has a shot at a national championship come season’s end — the top four teams earn spots in the playoff — OSU co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Ed Warinner said the Buckeyes regained confidence in themselves with the win.“I think we earned back the belief our players have in our program, belief in how we do things at Ohio State, how coach Meyer runs his program,” Warinner said after the game. “We just got our confidence back that we can win a big game, especially on the road.”Barrett agreed with Warinner, and added the win helped to prove the Buckeyes’ doubters wrong.“It really gave us confidence that we could play with the best of them because there was talk that we could only play well against very bad teams,” he said. “This was a very good team in Michigan State, and we came out and played well.”Just like Warinner and Barrett, Bennett said the win gave OSU confidence, but he added that it showed the Buckeyes are the “real deal,” and said it should put them in consideration for a playoff spot moving forward.“It just kind of gives us confidence; it makes other people just kind of turn their heads and start considering Ohio State for the top four,” he said. But while a panel will vote the top four on, the Buckeyes can control their own destiny when it comes to the Big Ten. After sitting in a tie with Michigan State, the win firmly established OSU as tops in the conference for the time being.Senior wide receiver Devin Smith — who Meyer said had his best game in an OSU uniform against the Spartans — said he was “angry” after last year’s loss, coupled with the Buckeyes’ image as underdogs, heading into East Lansing. He said the win showed the conference and the nation what kind of team OSU is.“We came out here and (made) a statement,” Smith said after the game. “And then that shows that we are the best team in the Big Ten, and we try to play like that.”Regardless of the Big Ten standing, or even the Buckeyes’ spot in the CFP poll, Meyer said he simply knows how well his team is playing right now, and added he’ll have to wait and see what that means going forward.“This team right now is playing on a very, very high level,” Meyer said. “I’m not sure what all that means other than we got to get ready to play next week.” read more

Mens Hockey Jeremy Hoy focuses on preparation in first season with Ohio

The Ohio State men’s hockey team gathers prior to the start of the game against Wisconsin on Feb. 23 in the Schottenstein Centern. Credit: Jack Westerheide | Photo EditorAssociate strength and conditioning coach Jeremy Hoy joined the Ohio State men’s hockey team in early August. Long before, the Buckeyes had seen his work firsthand, even if they didn’t know his name.“When I was at Robert Morris, we played Ohio State,” Hoy said. “In talking to these guys, they’re just like ‘Man, every time we turn around you guys were there. You never got tired, you were always hitting us.’”Before joining Ohio State, Hoy worked as a strength and conditioning coach all over the country. He’s coached at his own gym in Pittsburgh, with the gold medal-winning 2018 US Under-18 Women’s National Team and most recently at Robert Morris University, where the Colonials faced off against Ohio State multiple times during Hoy’s career. Hoy said he prides himself on the way he prepares his teams for the ice. He spends his time working out players, evaluating them during practice to identify their needs and, above all, making sure the team is game ready.“I’m responsible for a lot of aspects of physical preparation,” he said. “I’m making sure the guys are ready to go, I’m working with the athletic training staff to make sure they’re healthy … I’m going to recondition them, making sure they’re ready to go and they’re game ready all the time.”One aspect of the job Hoy focuses on is the relationship he forms with the team and each individual player. He works with each player to assess where they are and ensure they are in the best possible condition when they hit the ice. With the science behind strength and conditioning improving since Hoy entered the field nearly 20 years ago, there is a greater focus on each individual player rather than assuming a strength and conditioning routine works for everyone. The lessons from Hoy and the athletic training staff, however, don’t end in the weight room, or even on the ice.“What I feel like we’re doing is not preparing them to possibly play hockey at the next level … but we want them to be able to contribute to society in a positive way beyond college,” Hoy said. “When they’re done we want them to be able to enter the real world and have a positive impact from what they do.”Once the preparation is finalized for each game, Hoy said he holds a different perspective when his team enters the rink. Coaches and players focus on running plays and optimizing their strategy on the ice to win. Hoy still wants the team to win, but he has a different set of expectations for his players than most going into their games.“I feel like I haven’t done a good enough job if our team is being out-skated, out-conditioned, even out-hustled,” Hoy said. “I want to get the guys going. I want to be the one winning in all those areas every time. I also feel like I’m not doing my job if guys aren’t game ready.”While Hoy has only been at Ohio State for about a month, head coach Steve Rohlik believes he’s already left an impression on the team.“In the small sample we’ve had, he’s made a big impact,” Rohlik said. “No. 1 because he wants to be here … his energy, his knowledge and what he brings, his history, and the work he’s done for almost 20 years. Our guys have bought into his tremendous work ethic.”As Hoy prepares for his first season with Ohio State, his message to the team is clear.“I want to be the team that we’re talented and we’re going to outwork you. We’re going to bring both those together,” he said. “That starts here on the ice. Everything we do, it’s a mentality, a mindset that were going to work hard, give 100 percent effort and we’re engaged in doing everything we do.” read more

Barcelona wont stop until they also sign Matthijs de Ligt

first_imgAfter finally landing Frenkie de Jong’s transfer for next summer, FC Barcelona won’t stop until they have also sealed the deal for Matthijs de Ligt. At the very start of the season, there was a number of publications that talked constantly about FC Barcelona signing both Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt as a duo. After the midfielder was announced earlier this week, the Catalan club has already secured one of the two players they were after and they are now ready to keep their assault on the other main target.Defender Matthijs de Ligt recently spoke to NU Sport after his teammate Frenkie was announced, he revealed that he is feeling very happy for the decision De Jong has made and he didn’t deny the rumors that still tie him to FC Barcelona. The player knows that trying to go against those rumors can only make things worse for him, so he decided to keep working hard on the squad and just wait for any possible development about his future to fall into his lap.The whole negotiation process might prove to be even more complicated than Frenkie’s because the “cat’s out of the bag” in regards to Barcelona’s intentions, and several other clubs are also after Ajax’s young skipper.#VÍDEO Matthijs de Ligt declara su amor al @FCBarcelona_es 😍 #FCB #FCBLive #Mercado pic.twitter.com/OJ6af1MbFW— Mundo Deportivo TV (@Multimedia_MD) January 25, 2019While talking to NU Sport about the possibility of signing a new contract with Barcelona, Matthijs de Ligt revealed the following: “I can’t stop journalists from discussing the rumors, that is part of football,” said De Ligt on NU Sport.“Now that Frenkie has sealed his transfer, rumors about me getting stronger is a possibility but all I care about is playing my games for Ajax right now and that is the only thing I care about at the moment.”“I will just keep doing my thing and everything will be okay. I do think that any player would love to play for a club like FC Barcelona sometime in his career.”“We will see where I end up, right now I’m happy at Ajax and I hope I can have a great season here. Or maybe even more than just one season.”“I think it’s great for Frenkie to play for FC Barcelona. He deserves it and it’s fantastic for him to finally be able to stop talking about the affair, although his transfer negotiations didn’t really affect his concentration with us.”FC Barcelona, Valencia CFMatch Preview: Barcelona vs Valencia Boro Tanchev – September 14, 2019 Is derby time in La Liga, as Barcelona welcomes Valencia to the Camp Nou Stadium tonight at 21:00 (CET).“My replacement? Lisandro Magallan has proved that he is an experienced player, he knows exactly what the club wants from him as a defender,” he concluded.”Todos querrían ir al Barcelona”.– De Ligt pic.twitter.com/iz9nyCQRyu— Blaugrana FC (@BlaugranaFC10) January 25, 2019For FC Barcelona signing Matthijs won’t be easy at all because the rest of the clubs that were after Frenkie de Jong, will obviously double down on De Ligt as some of them considered that the Catalan club beat them to the punch in the race to sign the midfielder.Paris Saint-Germain in specific is very troubled against Barcelona, as they have not only beaten them to sign De Jong but they have also rattled the cage with Adrien Rabiot and practically forced the player to not sign a new contract extension.Nasser Al-Khelaifi has the plan of going after Philipe Coutinho next summer according to Diario Sport, he wants to take one of the best players the Catalan club has and find a replacement for all the missing midfielder the French club has at the moment. They will not only come after the Brazilian, but they will also attempt to take De Ligt out of Barcelona’s hands if they can.To those who don’t remember, this whole war between both clubs started when FC Barcelona tried to sign Italian Marco Verratti and wasn’t able to complete the deal.PSG then came to sign Neymar in revenge for that, and Barcelona now has landed the second blow against PSG.1/2 Sólo falta De ligt @FCBarcelona_es pic.twitter.com/mAnXlVYKAK— Pablo👽 (@P4bloT) January 25, 2019Which club would be better for Matthijs de Ligt to continue his professional career, FC Barcelona or PSG?
