Women’s Basketball Player of the Week – Kierra Jordan, Central Arkansas – Sr. – Center – Jackson, Miss.Jordan registered back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 15.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 54.2 percent in a pair of wins to open league play. She notched a season-high 13 rebounds in a 58-50 win at A&M-Corpus Christi, followed by a season-high 20 points in the 63-47 victory over Southeastern Louisiana. The Sugar Bears (9-4, 2-0 SLC) got off to a perfect start in conference player last week with wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (7-6, 0-2 SLC) and Southeastern Louisiana (1-12, 0-2 SLC).
